Measurement of water activity in soybean by-products
High soybean production in recent years has encouraged studies on the use of by-products of this grain.
Researchers at Pato Branco’s Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR) investigated the use of these by-products in the production of lipolytic enzymes, used in treatments for weight loss. The Water Activity measurement is among the parameters for study evaluation, and Novasina’s Labmaster equipment was used in this case.
